Canadians Made a Huge Impact on Mary’s Meals in 2024

Expanding in Ethiopia

In 2024, we expanded our feeding program in Tigray Ethiopia from 24,000 to more than 110,000 children who now receive a daily meal at their place of education.

Celebrating in Zambia

We celebrated a decade of school feeding in Zambia. Mary’s Meals began serving school meals in Zambia’s Eastern Province in 2014 to around 18,000 children in 25 schools

Ten years on and the program is reaching more than 450,000 children in over 900 places of education.

Fundraising across Canada

We are incredibly grateful for the supporters and volunteers who made the Zero Hunger events in Toronto and Vancouver such a success.

Together, we raised over $68,000, which was generously matched by a Canadian donor, bringing the total to more than $136,000.
